Supported activities

Applications of any kind which fall within the rules are welcome. 

 

Examples of activities supported are as follows :

  • Events such as workshops which are specifically aimed at students/early stage researchers/high school teachers.
  • Activities coming from ECerS Working Groups (after acceptance by the ECerS PEC).
  • Funding of visits by individual researchers to other laboratories within Europe for the purposes of learning new techniques or accessing equipment not available in their own laboratories.
  • Workshops on topical research areas, put on either as part of the ECerS biennial conferences or at other times. For all such meetings, Elsevier would have a strong interest in considering the publication of a Special Issue of Journal of ECerS or Open Ceramics containing high quality papers from the meeting.

ACerS is offering travelling grants of 1.500 $ to attend the two 2024 ECerS Summer Schools

The grants can be allowed to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students from non-European based universities. The 2024 ECerS Summer Schools will be held prior to Electroceramics XIX (Vilnius, Lithuania - School: 17-18 August 2024)  and Shaping 9 (Warsaw, Poland - School: 24-25 September 2024)!

Next deadline for the JECS Trust mobility Grant is 31st August 2024!

Please note that the decisions of the JECS Trust board will not be known before Mid-October 2024 and so the project submitted must not begin before mid-November 2024.
