JECS Trust and Best Paper Awards

Since 2013, Awards are granted biennially at the ECerS Conference.

JECS Trust Awards :

The JECS Trust Award is made to a ceramist of international reputation who has contributed to the development of the European Ceramic Society by publishing high quality papers in the Society’s journals. The winner is chosen by the Board of the JECS Trust, the body which oversees the development of the Journals. It is awarded biennially at the ECerS conference.

The Award comes with only two responsibilities. The first is to give a Plenary Lecture at the ECerS conference at which the award is made, and the second is to provide a written paper for publication in one of the Society’s journals on the subject of the lecture. The subject of the lecture and paper is the choice of the winner.
